Mr. Rae was very active in the local Oracle software user group community for many years. He served on the Board of Directors of the NorthWest Oracle Users Group (NWOUG) from 1996 to 2001, serving as Chair for three of those years. Besides Chair, other positions held were Vice-Chair, webmaster and Membership Director. This
independent regional group of Oracle professionals based in the Northwest corner
of the United States provides an excellent means to learn more about Oracle's
products and exchange ideas with other Oracle users that also live and work in
the northwest. It is a regional, geographic Oracle users group which
covers the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska. Annual active
membership is around 500. |
