The Rae "Boys" 2002 Backpacking Trip

This is the first of what we hope will be many annual backpacking trips where we can get three generations of Rae family "boys" together to spend some quality time with each other in God's country.

Destination 2002: Olallie Lake

(Our original destination was going to be Snow Lake, a little further up the pass and higher in elevation.  With the heavy winter snowfall and slower snow melt, there was still too much snow in the Snow Lake basin for us to have a comfortable -- and dry! --  backpack trip there.  We chose the Olallie Lake area at the last minute.  A link to on the navigation bar to the left provides gathered information on Snow Lake for potential future trips.)
